I went to Denver in 2018 and like a true idiot, went straight from the airport to the top of Pike’s Peak. I didn’t give myself a chance to acclimatize to the thin air and got altitude sickness. I managed to make my way from the shop at the top to the car and promptly passed out. I did manage to capture some pics of the wildlife at lower altitudes including this little guy who seemed happy to pose for a photo.
